AUCKLAND AIRMEN
ONE SEVERELY BURNED
(P.A) WELLINGTON, this day. An airman pilot under training, Leading-Aircraftman Douglas Ross Sadgrove, whose mother is Mrs. F. R. Sadgrove, of Auckland, received injuries, classified as moderately severe, in an aircraft accident .at a South Island air , station' yesterday. He was engaged in a solo training flight , . A radio mechanic serving with the R.N.Z.A.F., Aircraftman Ray Ellis Allen, whose mother is Mrs. E. M. Allen, of Auckland, received severe burns following contact with high tension wires at a South Island air station yesterday. He was admitted to hospital.
