ADMIRAL MISSING
LOST IN CHARGE OF CONVOY Rec. 2.30 p.m. RUGBY, Feb. 17. Admiral Sir Henry John Studholm Brownrigg, K.8.E., C.8., D.5.0., is officially reported missing and presumed dead. He is stated to have been in charge of a convoy when his ship was lost. Admiral Brownrigg won the D.S.O. in the battle of Jutland, and later held important appointments In the British Navy. In 1940 he was appointed commandant of the Home Guard in the Chatham area.
