Rec. 9.30 a.m. NEW YORK, Feb. 17. The War Manpower Commission complained to Paramount Pictures that Veronica Lake's long hair inspired the coiffures of female aeroplane workers, who were thereby endangered when working among machinery. Veronica said that henceforth she would wear her hair on top of her head.
