ENTRIES 33 UP ON LAST YEAR As in the case of the Auckland Bowling Cluds singles and rinks championships in December, record entries have been received for the pairs tournament section, play in which commences on March 2 on the greens of ten clubs. No less than 154 teams have been nominated, an increase of 32 on the figures for 1942, when P. O. Carbines and R. S. Higginbotham (Eonsonby) won the final against L. Pitkethley and L. J.
