OBITUARY
MR. A. E. MILLS
A former chief inspector of the Bank of New Zealand, Mr. Alfred Edward Mills, has died m Wellington Born in England, he joined the bank in 1884, became secretary to the board of directors on transfer to Wellington ten years later, and Avas appointed manager at Blenheim m 1902 1n'1906 Mr. Mills became an inspector at the head office of the bank. He was promoted to actmgseneral manager in 1910, and to chief inspector in 1914. He retired m March, 1920. Mrs. Mills died six years ago.
