A BUOYANT MARKET
With a plenitude of buyers and sellers Inclined to be more accommodating, there was another substantial turnover on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day, and the buoyant tone with which the week began yesterday was repeated. Bank shares were active at late rates, and industrials, both New Zealand and Australian. maintained their strength. Macky Logans were traded at £1 7/6. a rise of 2/ on the price just before the holidays. In their first sale since the reduced dividend was announced. Auckland G3S sold at 6/6 ex dividend, a decline of 1/2 on the cum dividend level. Several parcels of State issues chanced hands at firm values.
