TECHNICAL COLLEGE FIRE

Some damage was done to the Seddon Memorial Technical College shortly before six o'clock yesterday morning, when a fire broke out in a switchboard on the top floor. A corridor, a partition and the wall of a classroom were affected. Two machines and the electric ladder from the Central fire station, and machines • from the Parnell and Western Districts fire stations quickly extinguished the fire.
