FATALITY IN HOTEL

TAURANGA WAITRESS' FATE

(P.A.) TAURANGA, this day. A probationary waitress, . Miss Ngiire Mcintosh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Mcintosh, of Cambridge Road, Tauranga, was electrocuted at the Hotel St. Anne's, in Cameron Road, shortly after 11 a.m. yesterday. She was cleaning the bedrooms and. on finding one locked, tried to get in through the window. It appears that a reading lamp was in her way, and on grasping it by the metal 'stand to -move it out of the - way, she was electrocuted. Medical assistance was called, and Dr. D. R. White, with two men of the St. John Ambulance. Association, applied artificial respiration on the girl for about two hours without success.
