FAIR RENTS ACT
I've been waiting for someone who has justly benefited by this Act to speak a word in its favour, will correspondents who write about regaining possession of their own homes, enlighten me as to why they left them? I know if ever I own my own home I'll never let it or leave it. Perhaps they are like one of our ex-landlords who had got a State house for 26/ per week and let his own—made into three flats —for £3 7/6. Yet I don't think he'd ever go back to the old home.
