LARGER APPLE CROP

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The crop of apples in sight for the current season is slightly higher than last year, according to information supplied by Mr. W. Benzies, of the Internal Marketing Division. The Dominion yield of apples and pears last year was 2,100,000 cases, and this year's crop is expected to produce 2,300,000 cases. About 250,000 cases would be represented by pears.
