RESISTING NAZIS

Persistent Sabotage By Danes

And Norwegians

R.A.F. SMASHES DIESEL WORKS Rec. 1 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 12. An Oslo message states that the Court sentenced to death 12 and imprisoned three Norwegians from Kristiansund for illegal military activities. Knut Hamson, a Nobel Prize winner, appealed to the Norwegian youth to refrain from sabotage. The appeal was made because or tlie enormous number of acts of sabotage on the south Norwegian coast in the last six months. Stockholm newspapers report that the Germans in Denmark, in retaliation for sabotage, seized four Danish freighters and demanded the delivery of 100,000 tons of meat. Dynamiting and arson on railways and at factories in Denmark is almost a daily occurrence. Factories recently sabotaged included Frederiskberg metal works. The output of workers of all industries working for Germany has dropped noticeably. Work at the Burmeisterandwain Diesel engine works, Copenhagen, will not be resumed for three months as the result of the last R.A.F. raid.
