TE AKOHA WINS TAURAXGA

After a stirring final victory went to last year's winner at the Tauranga Combined Clubs' annual bowling carnival. Powell retained his two lives right to the end, pulling off the Pascoe Cup by a single point over L. J. Keys Auckland rink. The latter only lost two games throughout the tourney. . Powell, who was beaten in the section play, went through the intersection undefeated. Keys came through the section play unbeaten and was defeated by Powell twice in the intersection.
