Bank of New South Wales shar.es confirmed recent firmness with a sale at £31 7/6 (ex dividend) on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day, comparing with £30 in last local business in November. Demand was well sustained throughout the market, and further gains were made by Sydney Woolworths, Wilsons Cements and Farmers' Fertilisers. Government loans were steady.
