UNITED WOMEN

Following the recess period the annual meeting took place at the clubroom, Tabernacle Building. Mrs. Wynn, in her presidential address, gave a resume of the past year's work, which included the inauguration of and co-operation with the Public Opinion Group, work on nursery schools and school club committees, and a wide and active interest in many matters affecting women's and workers' conditions. Retiring committee members were congratulated for their valuable service, and the election of new officers resulted as follows:— President, Mrs. E. R. Wynn; vicepresident, Mrs. M. Mcßain; secretary, Mrs. V. Crowther; assistantsecretary, Mrs. E. Somers.
