AUCKLAND ACCIDENTS

Knocked down by a truck opposite the Central wharf last evening, Mr. John Gotts, married, aged 53, a barman, of 22, Brentwood Avenue, Mount Eden, Avas admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from concussion. His condition to-day was fair.

When the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a. jeep in Calgary Road, Sandringham, yesterday afternoon, Mr. George William Barker, a travelling agent, single, aged 53, of 43, Mount Albert Road, suffered a fracture of the right upper arm and a probable fracture of some ribs. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, and his condition to-day was satisfactory. Concussion was suffered by' Mrs. Muriel Cooke, aged 56, of 44, Ranui Road. Remuera, when the car she was driving was involved in a collision with a tram at the corner of Norana Avenue and Remuera Road last evening. Her condition at the hospital to-day was fair.
