KEYS QUALIFIES
FIRST WITH 7 WINS MINCHAM LOSES TO CLIFFE (0.C.) TAURANGA, this<day. The Tauranga bowling tournament was continued this morning in excellent conditions, the programme comprising the seventh round. L. J. Keys (Auckland) is now the onlyunbeaten skip, as W. E. Mincham (GreyLynn) lost this morning to W. \v. Maingay (Te Aroha), who had won only two of his previous six games. The conditions call for seven victories to qualify for post-section play, so that it is immaterial whether Keys is successful in his remaining couple of matches or not.
