ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL
Resulting from accidents at the Auckland Gas Company's works, Freeman's Bay, yesterday, two employees of the company were admitted to the Auckland Hospital. Mr. Llewellyn Morgan, married, aged 26, of 2, Scotland Street, Freeman's Bay, suffered severe scalds to both feet, and Mr. Samuel George Hawksworth, married, aged 54, an engineer, suffered a fracture of the left arm when caught in some machinery. Concussion and lacerations to the face were suffered by Mr. Lesley Arthur Rood, married, aged 52, of 447, Great South Road, Ellerslie, while working on the new fire station on the corner of Pitt Street and Grey's Avenue. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital last evening, his condition to-day being fair.
