PUKEMIRO COAL MINERS
(0.C.) HUNTLY, this day. After holding a meeting this morning for about an hour, the men at the Pukemiro mine resumed work. Yesterday the mine was idle as the result of a stop-work meeting being held by the men until about 11 a.m. It is understood that the matter in dispute has been settled. The other mines are working as usual. The Waikato Coal Mines Council is sitting at Huntly to-day to discuss various matters.
