CITY CRIME AT LOW EBB
TWO DAYS AND NO ARRESTS Again yesterday Auckland was strictly sober and crime was at its lowest ebb, with the'result that there was no sitting of the Police Court today. For the second day in succession no arrests were made by the police yesterday. It is many years since there have been no charge sheets to place before the magistrates two days in succession. Mr. J. Morling, S.M., however, was not idle this morning, for although he did not sit on the Police Court Bench he took a few by-law prosecutions in the auxiliary Court.
