Mr. Jacob Elliott, member of the Railways' Appeal Board, leaves for the south this evening. Mr. J. T. Martin, of Wellington, arrived in Auckland yesterday, and will return south this evening. Mr. A. E. Ford, engineer and manager of the Auckland Transport Board, leaves for Wellington this evening. Mr. J. E. Ricketts has been elected president of the Wellington Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen's Association, succeeding Mr. E. E. Brooking. Mr. F. Davidson, superintendent of the Auckland Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, has returned from Dunedin, after attending the brigade's jubilee celebrations. Mr. F. G. Farrell, president of the Automobile Association (Auckland), and Mr. A. Grayson, president of the North Island Motor Union, will leave for Wellington this evening. Mr. G. Grey Campbell and Mr. Douglas Robb, Auckland University College representatives on the Massey College board of governors, will lenve for Pahnerston North this evening.
