RACING STARTER HURT
A collision between two cars in Carlton Gore Road, near Davis Crescent, last evening, resulted in Mr. Ralph Skipworth, of Cockle Bay, who is well known in racing circles as the starter for the Auckland Racing Club and other North Island clubs, suffering cuts to the face and shock. Mr. Skipworth, who was the driver of one of the cars, returned home after treatment at the casualty ward of the Auckland Hospital. The other driver was uninjured.
