THEFT FROM MARINE
Allan Justin Carter, clerk, aged 22 years, who had been found guilty of the theft of £15 from a United States marine, was sentenced by Mr. Justice Callan to-day to imprisonment for 12 months with hard labour. The stvle of the offence as committed, said his Honor, had the effect of theft from the person.
