GRAIN AND PRODUCE
The following is the official weekly market report of the-Auckland-Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants' Association: — ' Wheat.—Merchants are holding fair stocks, which are being distributed through store at prices ranging from 7/4 to 7/6 per bushel,, f.o.r. There is no indication as to when further shipments may be expected. Maize.—Stocks are moving off steadily with prices for whole maize ranging from 7/10 to 8/1 per bushel, and kibbled from 8/ to 8/3 per bushel. Ample supplies are still available in the Bay of Plenty. Oats.—The demand is quiet, with B Gartons selling at from 5/7 to 5/10 per bushel, through store. ... Chaff.—This market is firm, wilh a steady inquiry. Through store q-.b.0.5. prices range from £11 '15/ to £12 IS/ per ton. Barley.—Adequate stocks are held by merchants and are moving off steadily. Prices for clipped are from 5/8 to 5/11 per bushel, and undipped 5/3 to 5/6 per bushel. Barley Meal. —There is a steady demand, with ample stocks available, prices ranging from £12 10/ to £12 15/ per ton. Stock Meal.—Merchants are experiencing a strong inquiry and are holding only fair stocks. Prices are from £11 17/6 to £12 2/6 per ton.
