MARRIED 55 YEARS
Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Bright celebrated the 55th anniversary of their wedding at 23, Wynyard Road, Mount Eden, to-day. Mr. Bright was born at Nelson 80 years ago. His wife is a native of Hastings (England). She is the eldest daughter of the late Mr. George Wood, of Newmarket (Auckland). Mr. and Mrs. Bright have lived in Auckland for 60 years. They have six children, nine" grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Three grandsons are serving in the forces overseas.
