GOLDEN WEDDING
Mr. and Mrs. F. Hubble .celebrated their golden wedding to-day at their home in Harbour View Road, Birkenhead, where they have lived all their married life. Mr. Hubble is the son of the late Mr. Samuel Hubble, of Greenwich, Kent. He came to r-Jew Zealand in 1885, and soon aftett joined the clerical staff of the New Zealand Sugar Company, which later amalgamated wtih the Colonial Sugar Refining Company. He remained in that position until his retirement in 1922. Mrs. Hubble is the daughter of the late Mr. Henry and Mrs. Eliza Palmer, of Northcote. They have two children, Mrs. Ken. Taylor, of Birkenhead, and Mr. Noel Hubble, of Mission Bay. There are five grandchildren. Mr. Hubble is a member of the Justices of the Peace Association.
