NEW VICAR INDUCTED
» PUKEKOHE, Saturday. At a special service in St. Andrew's Church, the Ven. Archdeacon T. C. H. Partridge, Archdeacon of Manukau, was instituted and inducted vicar of Pukekohe. The institution service was carried out by the Rt. Rev. W. J. Simkin, Bishop of Auckland, who also delivered the address, and the induction was carried out by the Ven. Archdeacon E. M. Cowie, Archdeacon Emeritus. A social was later held at which Archdeacon and Mrs. Partridge were welcomed by the Mayor of Pukekohe, Mr. M. R. Grierson, the Rev. D. Coleman, of Tuakau, and the Rev. F. E. H. Paton, Presbyterian minister at Pukekohe.
