WEEK-END ACCIDENTS
Falling down a flight of concrete steps at his home in Russell Road, Manurewa, on Saturday, Mr. Alexander Collie, aged 89, married, suffered concussion. Mr. Collie was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. His condition to-day was satisfactory. A fracture of the right leg was suffered by Mrs. Robena Elizabeth Piercy, aged 86, of. 9, Kiwi Road, Devonport, when she fell at her home on Saturday. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where her condition to-day was reported to be fair. " Crushed between a launch and a barge being towed by the launch last night, a 15-year-old youth, Alfred Henry Bradfield, son of Mr. J. W. Bradfield, of 106, Union Street, suffered an injury to the spine. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital. His condition to-day va,s fair.
