Moslem Leader Suggests Three Separate States ATTITUDE TO THE BRITISH (10 a.m.) • NEW YORK, Feb. 4. The formation of three separate Indias—Moslem, Hindu and Indian — is envisaged by the Indian Moslem League leader, Mohammed Ali Jinnah, in an - interview with the New York Times Bombay correspondent. Mr. Jinnah explained that, if the British left there would be chaos. If Indians insisted on Indian unity the British would never leave j and, therefore, the only solution was for the Hindu's to agree to the formation of a separate Moslem State, and to induce the British to support it. Afterwards they could fix the date when all three Indias would be declared independent.
