EGG PRICES ADVANCE

A further advance of 3d a dozen in the price of hen eggs will become effective as from Monday. A week ago rates for hen eggs were raised by 2d a dozen. Duck eggs will also be dearer on Monday by 2d a dozen. The Auckland Egg Marketing Committee, working in conjunction with the Internal Marketing Division and the Price Tribunal, has arranged for the increases to become operative from Monday morning.
