VALUABLE BEQUESTS
■ (P.A.) DUNEDIN, Friday. By the will of the late Mr. Percy Lewis Halsted, which has been sworn for probate purposes at under £100,000, valuable art collections jhave been bequeathed to the Dunedin Public Art Gallery Society and Otago Museum. These include oil and water colours by well-known artists, as well as a number of art* objects. Provision is also made for the selection by the society of any further paintings which testator's daughters may not desire to accept. There are two other public bequests under Mr. Halsted's will— to the Jewish Lads' Brigade, London, £250, and to the New Zealand Nurses' Memorial Fund, £100.
