CITIZENS AND TROOPS
REUNION IN STALINGRAD British Official Wireless Rec. 1.30 p.m. RUGBY, Feb. 5. A Moscow message states that the first meeting of the population and soldiers of Stalingrad for over six months was held in the central square. Members of the Political Bureau, General Khruschov, the army commander of Stalingrad, General Chuikov, General Rokistsev and the secretary of the Communist party committee, M. .Chuyanov, were present. M. Chuyanov assured the meeting that Stalingrad would be completely rebuilt with the same assistance from the country as it had received in fighting off the invaders. The workers' delegates said they were preparing for the earliest resumption of full armament production.
