I should like to remind J.C.H. that quite a lot of noise was made in England when reference was made to Russia at the time of the fight for Stalingrad. Mr. Churchill stated that Russia had done more for us than we can ever do for her: also that Russia had saved civilisation. The facts are quite the reverse of what J.C.H. makes them out to be. In answer to the correspondent who ottered a hat to anyone would could name a Communist serving with the armed forces, it may interest him to f Auckland section ot the Communist party alone there are 200 members, many of them volunteers, serving with the army, the air force, or the navv.
