GOOD DEMAND FOR BEEF

A good yarding of ox-beef sold under keen competition at the Westfield fat stock sales to-day. Values remained firm. A good demand for small entry of cows and heifers resulted in slight improvement* on last week's prices. A pair of heavy show bullocks, from the Karaka, were sold for £23 and £22 10/ respectively.
