WORKERS FOR GERMANY LONDON. Oct. 5. Only 17,000 skilled workers' had left for Germany so far and 133,000 more must be found to satisfy the German demands, said the Vichy Secretary of State for Industrial Production, giving a reminder to the French people yesterday.
' Recruiting, he said, would cover all classes of industry. For every 50 workers one would have to be an engineer and for every 500 workers one would have to be a foreman. Men over 50 and boys under IS would be exempt, but women between 21 and 35 would be liable unless they were mothers of at >•:: three children.
