LAND ARMY
WOMEN M.P.'s TOUR,
Recruiting for the Women's Land Corps will be carried on in the Auckland province this week by two women members of Parliament, Mrs. M. M. Dreaver (Waitemata) and Mrs. M. V. C. Grigg (Mid-Canterbury). The objects of their tour will be both to interest more farmers in employing women on the land, and more women in volunteering for the service. The tour will be conducted under the auspices of the Women's War Service Auxiliary.
Mrs. Grigg will concentrate on the Waikato, and Mrs. Dreaver on North Auckland, the latter's itinerary including public meetings at Kaikohe at mid-day on Wednesday and at Dargaville on Thursday evening. Mesdames Grigg and Dreaver will address a public meeting in Auckland city next Monday. They will both wear the uniform of the Women's Land
