MORE BEDS
SOLDIERS* ACCOMMODATION
Having received information that soldiers on leave had insufficient accommodation, members of the Auckland branch of the National Council of Women waited on the Mayor, Mr. J. A. C. Allum, on Friday afternoon to make suggestions and discuss the matter.
Mr. Allum explained to the deputation what was being done in the matter and told them that 205 additional beds had already been made available. The deputation stated that they were prepared to wait and see if that was adequate before going further into the matter.
