NATIONAL SAVINGS
National savings receipts this week in Auckland totalled £15,121 compared with £11,619 for the previpus week, according to a statement issued to-day by the secretary of the movement, Mr. F. E. Sutherland. [p the last four weeks, deposits and proceeds from the sale of 3 per cent bonds have amounted to £54,000 in Auckland. This result is more in keeping with the objective, and is a decided improvement on the position as it was twelve months ago, said Mr. Sutherland.
