WILL INCREASE FEES
HOSPITAL BOARD DECISION Advice that the Minister was not prepared to approve the proposed increase in the Auckland Hospital fees to 18/ a day was received by the Hospital Board at last night's meeting. The communication added that the Minister was prepared to reconsider the position in six months', time, and if the board then wished to proceed with the proposal arrangements would be made through the Hospital Boards' Association with a view to maintaining uniformity of hospital charges. The board decided to adhere to its original decision to increase the fees.
