INTRUDER PATROLS
PIONEER PILOT'S RECORD
British Official Wireless Rec. 1 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 28. A few nights ago Wing-Com-mander D. R. Hoare, D.F.C. and bar, carried out his 80th intruder patrol and it was probably his last. WingCommander Hoare, who is one of the pioneer intruder pilots of the Fighter Command, has now left his squadron to take up the training of fighter pilots.
