DOMINION'S ALLOCATION (P.A.) WELLINGTON", this day. "It is pleasing to note that the Dominion's allocation of tea for the year ending March 31. 1943, is sufficient to meet our requirements, subject, of course, to shipping facilities being available." said the Minister of Supply, Mr. Sullivan, when announcing thcit advice had been received from the High Commissioner in London, Mr. Jordan, that the Ministry of Food had completed arrangements for the purchase of the whole of the output of tea from India and Ceylon as from September 15, on behalf "of the Allied Nations, who would, in turn, purchase their requirements from the Ministry of Food under quota. Mr. Sullivan added that he was not yet in a position to give full details on how the scheme would operate as further particulars were awaited from London.
