HOUSING RETURNED MEN
„J t n £ national service talk broadcast last evening, Mr. M. Moohan chairman of the Rehabilitation Board, stated that the Government recognised its responsibility as far as the housing of returned men is concerned. "The completion of the defence construction programme will see the beginning of a comprehensive housing scheme," said Mr. Moohan. Houses and furniture are absolutely essential for the successful rehabilitation of our soldiers, sailors and airmen and their dependents." Mr. Moohan announced that £1250 had been donated to enable him to hold a competition for the best type of house and furniture for returned servicemen.
