NAVY'S CHALLENGE
ANOTHER TILT AT DRUMMOSD CUP The first-class XI which appeared at Blandford Park at the beginning of this season to represent the Navy has issued a challenge for the Drummond Cup, and the game will take place at the headquarters of Soccer next Saturday. Mr. Frank Baker, chairman of the A.F.A. Control Board, expressed appreciation of this arrangement, in view of the circumstances which had prevented this team appearing on the King's Birthday. A representative match between Auckland and Navy B teams will be played as the curtain-raiser. Referees for Saturday:—Royal Navy v. Auckland. Blandford Park, 3 p.m.. Mr. V. Olney: Royal Navy Bv. Auckland B, i Blandford Park, 1.30 p.m., Mr. A. Firth; Technical College v. Training College, Blandford Park. 12.30 p.m., Mr. S. Rollins.
