PATRIOTIC CONCERT
SOCIETV or MUSICIAN'S Given in aid of patriotic funds by professional and associate members of the Auckland Society of Musicians, the concert held last evening in the Lewis Eady Hall drew- a large attendance. The following presented a programme of instrumental and vocal items: The Westminster Instrumental Trio (Hermyn Mclntyre, Blanche Adams and Elizabeth Reed). Colleen McCracken (piano), Madaleine Wilcox and Dora Judson (piano duo), Colleen Cliallis (contralto), George Greenaway (baritone), Joan Bryant (soprano), Robert Simmers (baritone), the Florian Singers (Amy Hansard, Verner Wishart and Elizabeth Yates), and Doris Foote (elocution). Much encouragement in the form of unstinted applause was given throughout the evening.
