OBITUARY.
MRS. E. J. KALLS (0.C.) . WHANGAREI, this day. The death occurred suddenly of Mrs. Emma Jane, wife of Mr. Ernest Victor Ralls, aged 68. A Londoner, she arrived in Auckland in 1911, after farming in the Hokianga backblocks. She assisted her familv in the management of the Towai Hotel and general store, and was a prominent worker for patriotic funds and the Anglican Church. He husband and two sons survive her.
