WASHHOUSE FIRE
About 11.40 this morning machines from the Central and Parnell fire stations attended an outbreak in Railway Street, Newmarket. The fire was in a washhouse and was easily extinguished, damage being done to the lining and ceiling of the building and to effects inside. The property is owned by Mr. E. J. Kinsell, of Broadway, Newmarket.
