THE MUNRO CUP
COMPETITION FOR SERVICE XTS It has boon reported to the Auckland Football Association that although several Army teams had expressed a desire to enter for the I,eo Munro competition there were still units which had little knowledge of the conditions. In consequence the Board of Control last night decided to supply all service headquarters with regulations of the competition, and to notify them that the inaugural series has been arranged for Saturday next at Bland ford Park.
Tn succession to Mr. F. O. Fullbrook, t lie board appointed Mr. J. Itowat as sole selector of Auckland representative sides'. Mr. Fullbrook is serving with the Denial Corps. The junior management, committee is to be requested to arrange for exhibition seven-a-side games with midgets between the first and second games and during the interval of the main match at Blandford Park every Saturday.
