MAORI FOUND GUILTY
After a brief retirement the jury before whom Herbert Heka, a Maori, driver, aged 23 years (Mr. Noble), was tried in the Supreme Court on charges of breaking and entering and theft, with respect to burglaries in Ponsonby houses in January, returned a verdict finding the accused guilty on three counts of theft The prisoner was remanded by Mr.. Justice Callan for sentence at a later , date.
