DYNASTY TO RACE AT MANAWATU
(0.C.) WANGANUI, Friday. As a result of his win in the Taranaki Cup, Dynasty was awarded 0.9 In the big money the second day. As W. J. Broughton was out of action. W. Rayner decided to return home with the Posterity gelding Kingcraft and Curtail and wait for the Manawatu meeting, which is to be held at Martori on March 21. Dynasty is In great heart, while Ringcraft and Curtail both look well after their races. Dynasty was never better, but he has earned weights which will make the tasks of such a little chap very difficult in the future. W.' Rayner's stable will be represented at Trentham by Premature, Stairway and Damask. To date Stairway has not notched a win, but the Spiral colt Is an improver that should make good. Premature has been galloping very attractively of late and a race should come his way soon. The trophy donated by Mr. Russell Grace to be added to the winning stake for the Wangamii Cup of 1942 1s valued at £50. and takes the form of a gold cup. The meeting will be held on the Marton course on April 18. First Girl sustained no Injury when she fell after a collision in the last race at New Plymouth after passing the post, although her rider, W. J. Broughton. Inlured a collarbone. He expects to be fit to ride Dynasty and First Girl at the Manawatu meeting.
