Sherman—Pearce.—Mr. and Mrs. A. Pearce, of Sandringham, announce the engagement of their second daughter, Marjorie, to Frederick, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Sherman, of Sandringham.
Dowsing—Calvert.—The engagement is announced between Robert Raymond, only son of Mrs. Dowsing and the late Mr. R. J. Dowsing, of Grey Lynn, and Beryl, second daughter of Mr. W. Calvert and the late Mrs. E. Calvert.
Wells-Green—lrwin.—The engagement is announced between Mavis Joy, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Irwin, of Haslett Street, Eden Terrace, and Driver Charles Leonard, third son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Wells-Green, of Wingate Street, Avondale.
Qiiinii —Horn.in.—The engagement is announced between Morris Burnett, second son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Quinn, 53, Market Road, Remuera, and Betty, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Homan, 39, Boston Road, Mount Eden.
Watson—McCormick.—The engagement is announced between Laura Edna, youngest daughter of Mr/and Mrs. D. McCormick, Ponsonby, and Leading-Aircraftman Cyril Gordon, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Watson, 370, Dominion Road, Mount Eden.
Fletcher—Gunthorp —The engagement is announced between James Muir Cameron, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher, 21, Upland Road, Remuera, and Margery Vaughan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Gunthorp, "Dene," Great South Road, Papakura. ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
