AUSTRALIAN TURF

Exciting Finish In Futurity Stakes V.A.T.C. AUTUMN CARNIVAL MELBOURNE, Feb. 21. The finish of the Futurity Stakes at the Victoria Amateur Turf Club's autumn meeting at Flemington to-day was most exciting, half-heads separating the first four horses. Gold Salute looked the winner a furlong from the post, then Zonda was proclaimed, but Burrabil swooped down to win in the last stride. It was a brilliant effort, and Burrabil deserved to win.
